Newburyport - He was born March 5, 1949 son of Henry T. Sadowski, and Lorraine B. (Mowrey) Sadowski, passed away on August 25, 2026 and is survived by his wife Lynda (Cardello), a son from a previous marriage Thomas J. Sadowski, wife Mary (Mudge) and grandson, Jacob Sadowski of Newmarket, NH. Stepdaughters Stacey Leonard, husband Michael, and grandchildren, Nicolas and Arianna of Brentwood, NH and Beth Keene, husband Glen and grandson Kaeden Reister of Goffstown, NH and a stepdaughter from a previous marriage Melissa Dooling of Mesa, AZ; sisters, Lynne Pray and her husband Richard of Wakefield, NH and Cathy Burnham of Exeter, NH, and his nephew Ryan and wife Alesha Burnham of Epping NH and a sister-in-law, Joan Sadowski of Ware, MA,

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Sharan Babbin her husband Dan, his brother Stanley Sadowski and nephew Troy Burnham.

Tom served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Marine Wing Facilities Squadron 5 from 1969 to 1971 during the Vietnam conflict. He was employed for approximately 40 years at Labarron Bonny Co in Amesbury, MA which made interior kits and installation of interiors for early Fords and other late model cars. He had several interests, including motorcycles, antique cars, football, and his passion for most of his life, music. He played drums from high school onwards and started writing and recording songs later in life with his band mates and longtime friends Richard Bostick and Billy Glenn. Tom played in numerous bands throughout the years and did many charity concerts. His love of football started in high school, and he even went on to play in the semi pro league. Motorcycles were also a passion that started in high school and continued until health issues prevented him from riding. He was part of two motorcycle groups the Retreads and Redliners. He also raced small cc motorcycles with his son Tom and won first place in the novice division in his first year. He enjoyed customizing his many vehicles and motorcycles over the years and passed that interest onto his son. Many ice cream companies will surely feel his passing with the loss of revenue from the gallons of ice he consumed each year.

After a lengthy illness, Tom passed away surrounded by friends and family in his hometown of Newburyport.

There will be a celebration of his life in the early fall. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home, 193 High St., Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mr. Sadowski's family with his arrangements.
