Amesbury - Sandra Ann Nichols (Cook) died peacefully on February 11, 2026, after a long battle with COPD, at High Point House in Haverhill with her loving family at her side. She was born in Newburyport, MA on September 21, 1956. She is survived by brother Kenneth R. Cook of Merrimac, MA and sister Monika Embuscado of Red Lion, PA and daughter Harley Dixon and granddaughter Elianna Dixon of Somersworth, NH.

She loved horse back riding, monkeys knick knack and stuffed animals. She also loved to sing Karaoke and play bingo. She was daughter of the late Ingeborg Cook and late Kenneth W. Cook. Sandra had formally worked as a CNA at Seacoast Health Center in Hampton, NH.

Per her request there will be no wake or funeral service. A gathering of friends and relatives will be notified for a grave side burial when weather permits.
