Haverhill - Sally S. Higginbotham, 78, passed away on February 14, 2026 at Penacook Place in Haverhill, MA.
Born December 5th, 1947, in Amsterdam, N.Y. Sally attended Elmira College. Graduating in the Class of 1969.After college she lived in Edinburgh, Scotland for a few years before moving to the Boston area in the late 70's. Sally worked in the Human resources and mediation fields. For various companies.
Sally moved to the Amesbury/Newburyport area in 2002. Opening her own company
Exquisite Care House and Pet sitting Service in 2005.
Sally loved the outdoors and enjoyed all the Newburyport area had to offer.
Especially walking and exploring Plum Island. Sally was a highly intelligent, vibrant, and curious person. Who will be missed by all who know her.
Sally was the daughter of John G. and Grace M. Higginbotham.
Predeceased by her older sister, Susan M. Gaughan
Sally is survived by her brother-in-law, William G. Gaughan and was the
Beloved Aunt of Dylan F. Gaughan and Carey M. Gaughan.
Sally's wishes were simple. She did not want a "fuss" over her passing. Sally wanted cremation, and her ashes spread in the waters off Plumb Island and Northport.
