Bradford - Robert Francis Willett, Jr., 73, of Salisbury, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at his home on June 22, 2026.

Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts on June 25, 1952, Robert was the son of the late Robert F. Willett, Sr. and Joanne (Keefe) Willett.

Robert attended Sacred Hearts Grammar School and graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1970. He began his career at Western Electric, where he worked as a Quality Inspector from 1978 until his retirement in 2002. Never one to sit still, Robert continued working after retirement as a school bus driver for Salter Transportation, later serving as the valet manager at Stripers Grill, where he met countless people and became a mentor and friend to many of the young men he worked alongside. He also spent ten years helping with the family's window cleaning business.

Robert found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, spending time at the beach, cars, cheering on the Patriots, and making his annual trip to Florida every March. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his best friend, his dog, Ruckus, treasured every opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, and looked forward to his weekly date night with the love of his life, Cathy—a tradition they faithfully shared throughout their 46-year marriage.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy B. (Sanville) Willett; his sons, Erik Willett and his wife Brittany of Hampton, New Hampshire, and Kyle Willett and his wife Samantha of Hampton, New Hampshire; his sister, Patricia Finale and her husband, Joe, of Bradford; his brother, Michael Willett and his wife, Laurie, of Newton; his sister-in-law, Anne Berardi and Joe Berardi; his grandchildren, Dean, Walker, Summer, and Reese; and one more grandchild expected to join the family in October. He also leaves behind his beloved niece and four nephews - Katie Shine, Joey Finale, Joseph Berardi, Daniel Berardi, and Zachary Willett - who all loved their "Uncle Bob."

In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his brother, Thomas "Tommy" Willett.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main Street, Bradford. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge.
