Haverhill - Haverhill - Richard Lee Wilkinson, beloved husband and father, died peacefully on February 6, 2023 after a long period of failing health at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen, NH.

Richard was born in Newburyport, MA on June 18, 1936. He lived in Newburyport and Haverhill, MA, as well as Londonderry, NH, Center Barnstead, NH; and most recently in Boscawen, NH.

Richard worked at various shoe companies in Newburyport, MA in his early years. He worked at AT&T/Lucent Technologies in N. Andover, MA as a circuit board technician in his later years, and retired from there in 2001 after more than 20 years.

Richard loved to drive and take day trips to NH mountains and lakes, as well as to beaches in Maine and Massachusetts. Richard, his late wife (Elizabeth) of nearly 47 years, and daughter (Deborah), took many trips together (Niagara Falls; Poconos; Amish Country in PA; Colonial Williamsburg in VA; Orlando, FL; and Nova Scotia, Canada). Richard loved to play poker with his friends at the Alton, NH Senior Center, watching the Steelers, completing Word Search puzzles, and coloring.

Richard was predeceased by his mother, Edna (Wilkinson) Mulica, his step-father, John Mulica, Sr, his wife Elizabet,h (Fieldsend) Wilkinson, and step-brother, Douglas Mulica. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Clapp and son-in-law, Ralph Clapp of St. Augustine, FL, as well as his stepbrother, John Mulica, Jr. and his wife, Gail of Newburyport, MA.

A graveside service and celebration of life will be conducted on June 14, 2023 at 1 pm at the Tonry Cemetery in Brentwood, NH.
