Hampton Falls - Hampton Falls - Richard S. Corbett, 77, of Hampton Falls, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, July 6, 2025. He was born in Westbrook, Maine, on March 20, 1948, to the late Mildred (Leighton) Corbett.

Richard was raised in Westbrook and graduated from Westbrook High School with the Class of 1965. Following high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1972, working as a pipefitter. After his military service, he worked as a truck driver for various companies, including M & V Electroplating Corporation, until his retirement in 2008.

In 1982, Richard met the love of his life, Tambria "Tammy," through family members. They married seven years later and shared 43 wonderful years together.

A quiet man of few words, Richard will be remembered for his kind heart, caring nature, and signature sense of humor. He was a lifelong collector, loved yard sales, and enjoyed watching classic westerns on TV. One of his greatest joys was spending time near the ocean—especially beach cruises with Tammy.

In addition to his beloved wife, Tammy, Richard is survived by his daughters: Tracy Allen and her husband Troy of Maine; Rose Soper and her husband William of Massachusetts; Heidi Gowans and her husband Donald of NH; and Heather Corbett-Ortiz and her husband Greg of Massachusetts. He also leaves his brother, Raymond Allen; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one very special great-grandchild and best friend, Chase Gowans.

A visiting hour will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 10 AM to 11 AM at Byfield Gospel Hall, 1 Central Street, Byfield, MA 01922.
