Merrimac - In Loving Memory: Patricia I. Queene, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home in Merrimac, Massachusetts, on July 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her devoted husband, James L. Queene, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.

Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on July 17, 1953, she was the daughter of the late John and Irene Campbell and a graduate of Somerville High School.

Pat, as she was known by many, was a devoted stay-at-home mom before working for many years at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

In her younger years, Pat enjoyed bowling and was a member of a bowling league. She was an artist and loved painting, cooking, and gardening. An avid reader, she cherished her family above all else.

She will always be remembered by her loving family, including her husband, James L. Queene; her son, Michael Queene and his wife, Mary, of Rochester, New Hampshire; her daughter, Kimberly Lord and her partner, Ryan Bernstein, of Gloucester, Massachusetts; her four beloved grandchildren, Auraylia and Jillian Lord of Gloucester, Massachusetts, and Anthony and Gianna Queene of Rochester, New Hampshire; her brothers, Timmy, Danny, Jimmy, and Kevin; her sisters, Cindy, Irene, and Debbie; her brother-in-law, Greg Queene and their significant others.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Carol and Dottie.

Family and friends are welcome to attend.visiting hours on Tuesday, August 11, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 36 West Main Street, Merrimac, MA 01860. Burial will be private at the request of the family.
