Newbury, MA - Pamela A. Smith, age 73, of Newbury, passed peacefully at Brigham Manor Nursing Home in Newburyport, Saturday afternoon, September 28, 2019, with her devoted family by her side.

Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, on March 16, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Henry S. and Harriet E. (Randall) Cahoon.

Pamela was retired from Triton Regional High School in Newbury, where she had worked as a paraprofessional.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 53 years, Ronald A. Smith of Newbury; her daughter, Dr. Felicia Smith and her wife, Dr. Pamela Jones; two sons, Jeffrey Smith and wife Nicole Smith and their children, Sierra Smith and Camren Smith; and Timothy Smith and wife Carla Smith and their daughters, Taylor Berry, Kamryn Berry and Erica Smith; along with extended family and dear friends.

A kind, gentle and loving soul, she will be greatly missed.


Funerals services and burial at Highland Cemetery, Newburyport, will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider making a donation to the National Hospice Foundation https://www.nationalhospicefoundation.org/). Arrangements are by Elliott, Woodworth &Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport.

Hi Felicia! I am so sorry to hear of your moms passing. Some fond memories of her and my mom doing the class advisor stuff back in high school..she was a great friend to my mom and I was glad to know her.
