Salisbury, MA - Michael K. Robinson Sr., age 64, of Salisbury, and longtime former resident of Amesbury, passed at the Holden Rehabilitation Center in Holden, Mass., on Monday, November 25, after a period of declining health, with his supportive family at his side. He was the devoted husband of 16 years to Patricia (Anderson) Robinson.

Born in Newburyport, January 31, 1955, Mike was the son of the late John and Jacqueline A. (Greaney) Robinson and was a graduate of Amesbury High School, class of 1974. For 30 years Mike worked at the Amesbury Chair Company, where he was a woodworker making furniture.

Michael proudly served with the Army National Guard for 25 years, honorably discharged in 1997 with the rank of Sergeant.

He was as an avid sports fan following all Boston sports teams, loved bowling and helped coach Special Olympics track for many years.

He leaves behind his wife, Patricia; son, Michael Jr.; daughters, Jennifer and Pamela; step-daughters, Holly, Lynn and Crystal; several grandchildren; his sister, Linda Fuller, along with extended family and dear friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone he knew and loved.


A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019, at 2 p.m., at the Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport. By request of the family, there will be no visiting hours and burial will be private.
