Amesbury - On the morning of April 17, 2020, M. Jeannine Perley died of natural causes, at the age of 80.
Jeannine was born to Philip and Lucy Sirois in 1939.
She was a critical care nurse for most of her R.N career, which spanned four decades.
Jeannine is also remembered as Kuddles the clown. She loved working with children. She graduated Northeast Clown Institute and was a member of the World Clown Assoc. Her humor and antics will be missed.
Ever the adventurer, she loved travel and learned how to pilot boats and small airplanes. Her favorite sports were deep sea fishing and candlepin bowling, for which she won numerous trophies.
Jeannine was a skilled seamstress and designed and sold clothing for persons with medical needs. She was an avid knitter.
She prided herself on being a season ticket holder and beneficiary of the North Shore Music Theater for over two decades.
Jeannine was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, David Perley; her sisters Flora and Dolores; brother Armand; and son Gordon.
She is survived by her two children, Jeannine and Sumner; granddaughters Maggie and Kassie; her sisters Eva and Bernie; and brother Philip. She was known as "Aunt Jeannine" to 35 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be scheduled once permissible.
