Newburyport - Lorraine Smith peacefully passed away this past Friday, surrounded by her loving nephews and her younger sister. She had recently enjoyed visits from her best friend Lyndi (who brought Jelly donuts) and her adoring nieces.
Lorraine was a friend to anyone who needed one, a good listener, and someone with an excellent, natural laugh that could fill a room. She was an avid Red Sox fan who always knew the score. Her warm presence and genuine spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her one remaining sibling, Shirley Ogden of Andover and many loving nieces and nephews.
