Newburyport - Kim Barrett Moore – 74, of Newburyport, MA, passed away on June 2, 2026. He was the beloved husband of June (Rice) Moore, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage.

Born in Scituate, MA, he was the son of the late Charles and Natalie (Dwyer) Moore. A lifelong New England resident, he graduated from Bentley University. His career in software spanned more than 30 years at various companies, including Apple, Oracle, and Blackboard. When he wasn't working, he could be found on the golf course with friends or entertaining people on the guitar as part of his band Blackwood.

He's a father of two sons, Michael and Matthew, and two grandchildren, Bodi and Sydney with another grandchild on the way. He's also survived by two brothers, Larry and Jeff, and one sister, Kathy.
