West Nottingham, NH - Kenneth I. Wilbur, also fondly known as Grampa Kenny, 92 years young, died January 27, 2019, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H. He was born February 21, 1926, in Newburyport, Mass., son of the late Earl H. Wilbur and Nancy J. (Kelley) Hall.
Kenny grew up in Kensington, N.H., and was one of five children in the family. He attended Sanborn Seminary in Kingston, N.H. After a few years as a woodsman, he was drafted in the United States Army and served honorably during the Korean Conflict from 1950–1952. In 1961, he married Doris Packard and they spent over 30 loving years of marriage until her passing on June 3, 1992. Kenny worked as a woodsman for his entire career. They lived in Kensington for many years before moving to West Nottingham.
Kenny was a devoted brother and he was especially proud that he was able to take care of his disabled brother, Bob, for 39 years until his death on February 3, 2011. Many people will fondly remember Kenny for his joking sense of humor. He mostly enjoyed visiting with his family. His other passion, which he usually did with some of the family, was deer and raccoon hunting. You could also find Kenny typically riding on his tractors, chopping wood, or gardening.
In addition to his wife, he was also predeceased by his devoted son-in-law, Richard J. Perreault; and all his siblings, Kay, Dot, Francis, and Robert “Bob.”
Kenny is survived by his devoted daughter, Katherine Perreault; six grandchildren, granddaughter and her spouse, Cheryl and Glenn Tebo, granddaughter, Laurie Perreault, granddaughter and her spouse, Lisa and Paul Cram Sr., granddaughter and her spouse, Michelle Perreault and Tracy Poirier, grandson, Scott R. Perreault, granddaughter and her spouse, Jill and John Lennox; nine great-grandchildren, Paul Jr. and his spouse, Kristyn, Michael, Jonathan, Justin, Connor, Nicole, Owen, Hailie, Katie; two great-great-grandchildren, Bentley, Mason; two step-children, Doris “Ginnie” Merrill, Joan F. St. Louis; several generations of step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service with military honors will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 12 p.m., at Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, NH. Guests may visit with the family at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to the start of the funeral.
Spring burial will be in the Village Cemetery, Kensington, N.H.
