Parrish - Ken was born on January 24, 1938 in Newburyport, MA to the late Harvey Terry and Gertrude LeRoy. He was predeceased by his wife Anita whom the shared 64 years of marriage. He graduated from his beloved Amesbury High School and entered the United States Air Force upon graduation.They moved near Cannon Air Force Base, in New Mexico after marriage to be near where he was stationed. He was a jet engine mechanic during his time in the service. Together there they had three sons, Kenneth, Jr., Edmund and Steven.
After returning to Amesbury, Ken was an Amesbury Little League Baseball and Hockey Coach. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Celtics. He served as a selectman for many years.
He then opened Terry Liquors and ran that for many years. After selling it, he purchased Terry Recal Services from his Father Harvey, which is now owned by his son Kenneth, Jr.
He retired to Parrish, FL with Anita. He was actice in his church New Hope Baptist. He coached basketball and helped with many youth programs. He also enjoyed being the grounds keeper.
He leaves behind his sons Kenneth, Jr. and wife Kelli, Edmund and wife Stephanie and Stven and wife Priscilla. His beloved grandchildren Shannon (Luke), Kendrick (Jessica), Amanda (Chris), Cameron (Kelsea), McKenzie (Avery), Hennesey (Sean) and Cooper (Kristen). Also, six ggreat grandchildren Shawn, Lynsdet, Gemma, Tessa, Kinsley and Kiera.
Also, his sister Beverly, and brother David, his half sisters Suzanne and Virginia(Billie) and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Donna.
Burial will be private in the Spring. Donations can be made in his name to the charity of your choice or church missions at New Hope Baptist Church, 9422 Old Tampa Rd., Parrish, FL 34219.
