Dover, NH - Judith A. LaPlante, 76, passed away Saturday March 23, 2019 at her home following a period of failing health.

She was born December 10, 1942 in Springfield, Massachusetts the daughter of Donald and Gladys (Tomelette) Burt.

She enjoyed many pastimes including crossword puzzles, time with family and travel, especially to Montreal. Though she was always most happy with a book in her hands.

Members of her family include her children, Diane Bragg and her husband, Michael and Donald Elton, Sr.; step children David LaPlante and his wife, Kathryn Hicks, Denise Fox and her husband, Tim, Karen Bruno, Deborah Harmon and her husband, Marshall, Ronald LaPlante, Jr and his wife, Kathryn and Elizabeth Witherell and her husband, Rich; grandchildren, Tanner, Julian, Anneliese, Donald, Emily Marc and his wife Sarah, Adam, Stephen and his wife Heather, Rene and his wife Victoria, Dustin, Joel and his wife Karyn and Rachael; great grandchildren, Ryan, Jaina, Dexter, Kyle, Ryan and Eve; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved Lily.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald LaPlante, Sr., her parents, her sister, Barbara Antaya and her niece, Kathleen Childs.

A time of visiting will be Saturday March 30, 2019 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater New England, 101A First Ave., Waltham, MA 02451.
