SALEM, MA - Joyce R. (Harvey) Bilodeau, 74, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House following a long illness.

Born and raised in Salem, Joyce was the daughter of the late Eliadore and Jeannette (King) Harvey. She was a lifelong resident of Salem.

Joyce had been employed by the City of Salem as a principal clerk for the Purchasing and Building Departments for 27 years before retiring in 2013.

Joyce was a devoted mother to her two children and proud "Memere" to her three grandchildren. There was nothing she loved more than spending time with her family.

She is survived by two children, Michelle O'Neil and her husband, Shawn of Peabody, and Paul Bilodeau and his wife, Kelly of Swampscott; three grandchildren, Shawnna O'Neil of Peabody and Carter and Morgan Bilodeau of Swampscott. She also leaves behind three brothers, Theodore Harvey and his partner, Frances Grace of Hamilton, Robert Harvey and his wife, Sande of Salem, and Kevin Harvey and his wife, Robin of Florida; and two sisters, Anne Marie Welch of Salem and Jeannette Harvey-Bart and her husband, Walter of Marblehead; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Joan Solheim.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church, 15 Hawthorne Blvd., Salem, at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018. Visiting hours will be held before the Mass at the Immaculate Conception beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
