Newburyport - Jessica Louise Randall, 52, of Newburyport, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, March 18, at her residence.

She was born in Chicago, IL, March 5, 1971, daughter of Cynthia (Sharp) Randall of Newburyport and the late George A. Randall Jr.

Educated in the Newburyport school system, Jessica graduated from Newburyport High School, class of 1989, received the John Calvin Noyes Scholarship, and earned her degree in Psychology from Eugene Lang College, New York.

Employed in the culinary world and health services for many years, Jessica found her true calling as a counselor and cook at a group home. While there she enjoyed teaching the residents how to cook and relate to daily endeavors. More recently she was employed at Market Basket, Newburyport.

An avid reader, she also enjoyed astrology, dining out and exploring the coast on day trips and vacations with her long-time companion, Tom Persinos of Salem, MA.

As well as her mother and companion, her survivors include a sister, Elizabeth Randall of Newburyport, several far-flung cousins, aunts, and an uncle.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill & Bradford.
