Jack L. Slatoff Obituary

Haverhill - Jack L. Slatoff, PhD, 92 of Haverhill and formerly of Newburyport, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2023, at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA.

He was born in Springfield, MA, son of the late Arthur and Doris (Srebnick) Slatoff.

Jack graduated from the University of Massachusetts and Boston University where he received his PhD in psychology. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Jack had a long and distinguished career in private practice and later for Southern NH Regional Medical Center in Nashua, NH. He also consulted for many years at St. Ann's Home in Methuen MA and the Bedford NH School System.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mary (McCormick) Slatoff, a son, David Slatoff & partner, Brian Gennett, a daughter, Linda Dalessio, a daughter, Wendy Gondek-Martinez, a son, Michael Slatoff (Laurel) and a son, TJ Gondek. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

At the family's request, services will be held privately at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer Street, Haverhill, MA.

Contributions in his honor may be made to the High Pointe Hospice House, 360 North Ave., Haverhill, MA and St. Ann's Home, 100A Haverhill St., Methuen, MA, 01844.
