Ingeborg Cook
Amesbury, MA - Ingeborg Cook died peacefully on June 28, 2019, at High Point House in Haverhill with her loving family at her side. She was born February 16, 1930 in Gablonz, Czechoslovakia. Wife of the late Kenneth W. Cook, she is survived by brothers Helmut Pelzetter and Roland Koller of Germany; daughter Monika Embuscado of Seattle, Wash.; and son Kenneth R. Cook and daughter Sandra A. Nichols, both of Amesbury; and several granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
She is well known for her German cooking and karaoke. Formerly employed at the Bailey Co. in Amesbury and worked as receptionist at the Amesbury Senior Center, also a police liaison for elderly, and assistant at the Emergency Management in Amesbury.
Per her request there will be no wake or funeral service, a future service will be planned at the St. James Episcopal Church at 120 Main St., Amesbury, to be determined and posted in the Newburyport News.
