So sorry to hear of Gordon's passing.
I am fortunate to have played with him on numerous occasions and I have to say he always shined among the other players.
I hope there is a bandstand up there. Gordon. Save some room for the rest of us.

Dear Blaney Family,

I send my condolences to you. GFB Jr. was a musical genius and it was a privilege to take music composition lessons from him. He was kind, witty, insightful and had that awesome Bostonian accent to my Wisconsin ears.

May he be in Jah's memory and rest in peace.

Love, AMR...

I don't even know what to say. I'm in total shock. You had much life ahead of you. Gordon, we'll miss your funny ways and how much you truly wanted to help others. I want you to know how instrumental you were in helping me develop my compositional gift, and know that you will never be forgotten for it. A little piece of you will be in every piece I write, and I know that would make you smile.

To Gordon's family, I am so deeply sorry for this loss and you will all be in my prayers. ❤

Lynette, Gordon and Shana, so sorry to hear about GB. You all welcomed Colette and I and then Liza into your home many years ago. Swiming in the pool, playing soccer in the yard and visits to the house from the kids are our fondest memories. On Saturday's Colette would go to work I would be home with our new baby Liza and Sophie our dog. I could always count on GB stopping over to say hello and I loved seeing him and truly enjoyed our convesation, often amazed at his knowledge and insight about the world we live in. His smile was big and his touch was gentle and kind. He would hold Liza with delicate care and pat our dog Sophie with same big smile on his way out. GB brought joy to our family... and we loved him very much. GB will be missed by many people. Our thoughts and prayers with you all.Read more

Gordon frequented my nursing office at Triton Regional High School when he was a student there. His pleasant personality was uplifting and he always had a smile. We chatted often when I we saw one another in the area. My sincere sympathy to his family.

Blaney Family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of GB .
I recently saw him going into Market Basket as I was coming out. He always greeted me with his great big smile.
I remember him, Marie and Shana playing Christmas carols in church. He will truly be missed! Praying for you all.
