Amesbury - Germaine (Pelletier) St. Germain, 97, of Amesbury, passed away on Thursday, November 21.
She was born in East Hereford, Canada, May 15, 1922, daughter of the late Emelia (Ouellette) Pelletier.
Germaine enjoyed her club activities as a member of the Elizabeth H. Whittier Club, Whittier Home, St. Anne Sodality and St. Jean Society.
She also cherished time spent traveling to York Beach, Maine, Plum Island, Hampton Beach, Bermuda, Hawaii, and Florida. She especially enjoyed shopping sprees and dining out.
She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Laurier St. Germain and her daughter, Ann, who died at the age of eight.
Her survivors include a daughter, Andrea Howes and her longtime partner Atty. Joseph Faro, Andrea's son, Jeffrey Howes and his companion Nicole Montello and their two children, Anna and Ryan who were cherished by their great-grandmother. Germaine also leaves her daughter, Jane Dionne and her children, Nicolas and Collette; as well as many nieces and nephews. Her nieces, Claudette Pelletier and Lucille Mitchell were especially close to ma tante Germaine as well as close friend, Paula Pelletier.
Her family would like to express their sincere thanks for the wonderful, compassionate, caring staff at the Meadows at Edgewood, North Andover, and to her new friend and roommate, Joan Kingsley, for her comfort and kindness.

Sorry to hear of Germaines passing. She was such a beautiful lady, always smiling and pleasant to everyone! Im sure they are all having a great time together and of course a lot of dancing!! My sympathy to the whole family. Love cousin Pauline
