Amesbury, Formerly Andover - Erin McQuade, fondly referred to as "Cha Cha",

A resident of Amesbury, formerly of Andover and beloved daughter of John and Karen (Verda) McQuade passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 11, 2024. She was 41 years old.

Erin was born in Lawrence on October 9, 1982. She loved to color with magic markers, sing to anyone and dance at any chance she had. She could never pass up a good crowd and a microphone to give a speech. She also made purses and sold them to the doctors and nurses at the hospital. Erin also loved to participate in the Special Olympics. She had a special love for her Godson Oliver. Erin will be lovingly missed by all who knew her.

Besides her parents, John and Karen, Erin is survived by her loving sisters, Shaunalee McQuade and her partner, Joseph E. Wrenn, III of Haverhill and Breann and her husband Joshua Welch of Amesbury, godmother; Mary Alice McQuade of Feeding Hills, God son, Oliver Welch of Amesbury and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Interment will be held in the Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
