Oxford - Elisabeth Ronan-Pritchard, age 81, of Oxford, FL, died July 29, 2021. Liz was born in Newburyport, MA, to James and Catherine (Shea) Ronan. She attended Newburyport High School, following her brothers, Jack and Jim. Following high school, she attended Northern Essex Community College earning a two-year Nursing degree. This was followed by a B.S. degree from St. Leo University and subsequent Master of Science degree from Webster University. Liz practiced Nursing for 35 years. She worked floors, handled charge duties, OR, ER, HR and case management responsibilities.

Liz was a lifelong athlete pursuing skating, skiing, horseback riding, bicycling, boating, field hockey and swimming. Other interests included gardening and showing classic cars. She traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Europe, including living in France with her family for three years,

She is survived by her husband Frank Pritchard; her brother, Jack and his wife Frances Ronan of Newburyport, MA; and four children, Audrey Deguio of Arvada, CO, Dianne (Ronald) Cormier of Haverhill, MA, Robert Deguio of Rye, NH, and Michael Deguio of Kingston, NH; and six grandchildren; one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Liz was predeceased by her brother, James Ronan and her son, William Deguio.

Calling hours are Friday, September 24, 2021, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Twomey, LeBlanc & Conte Funeral Home, 193 High Street, Newburyport, MA 01950. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary's Cemetery in the Ronan Family plot in the Old Section number 520. Please meet the family at the cemetery. It is strongly suggested that all guests wear a mask while in the funeral home and at the graveside service.
