Ednah E. Buthmann, daughter of the late Paul T. Jones and Marion R. Jones, formerly of Tilton, N.H., was raised in Framingham, North Andover, and Haverhill. Ednah graduated from Haverhill High School and was a longtime resident of North Andover.

Beloved mother, mentor, author, and friend for many, her life spanned the years of The Great Depression, of wars and peace. She was an antique dealer, Docent at Textile Museum, member of the North Andover Historical Society, and worked at Phillips Academy Andover.

She loved the White Mountains of New Hampshire, having camped and hiked for many years at Dolly Copp Campground. Ednah loved the rocky Coast of Maine, where her great-grandfather had been a lighthouse keeper at Burnt Island Light in Boothbay Harbor.

As a Christian Scientist, her faith sustained her from earthly pain and suffering for over 90 years. Though she has left this world, we will celebrate omnipotent love peace and faith Eternal. Her memory will always be cherished for the work she did during her time with us.

Ednah is survived by son, Richard Buthmann his wife, Violet of Ridgefield, Wash., granddaughter, Sabra Buthmann of Vero Beach, Fla., grandson, Brant Buthmann, wife, Lisa, and great-grandson, John; son, Lawrence Buthmann, wife, Sue of Pepperell, granddaughter, Jennifer and husband, Justin Jennings, and great-grandson, Cameron of Nashua, N.H., and grandson, Eric Buthmann of Jackson, Wy.; son, Robert Buthmann of Salisbury, and granddaughter, Heather Buthmann of Carlsbad, Calif.; and son, Thomas of Lawrence.
