Haverhill - Edna D. (Lucier) Wilson, 90, of Haverhill, (formerly of Amesbury), passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill.

She was born in Amesbury on November 28, 1932, daughter of the late Armand and Clara (Gosselin) Lucier.

Edna was educated in the Amesbury School system and graduated from Amesbury High School with the Class of 1951. She would go on to work for over 35 years at Western Electric until her retirement.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Hearts Church in Bradford for 40 years and later Holy Family Parish in Amesbury for 25 years. Edna loved walking along Hampton Beach and spending time with her family and friends on Lake Gardner in Amesbury.

Edna was predeceased by her husband Ernest "Barney" C. Wilson Jr., who passed away in 1984, her son Mark E. Wilson who passed away in 1980, her sisters and their husbands, Rhenda (Mrs. Charles) Smart, Lorraine (Mrs. Charles) Moynihan, Lucille (Mrs. Romeo) Lariviere, and Doris (Mrs. Robert) Menizigian, and her brothers Roland and Armand Lucier Jr.

She is survived by her loving son, Dr. Thomas A. Wilson, PhD and his wife Victoria of Bradford. She was the grandmother to Ashley and Alyssa Wilson of Bradford, Kevin Donovan and his wife Maria (Winthrop, ME), and Michael Donovan (Monmouth, ME), as well as the great grandmother to Travis and Olivia Donovan (Winthrop, ME). She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Merilyn Lebor (Chester, NH) and Jean Lucier (Amesbury, MA), a brother-in-law Edward Syvinski (Haverhill) and several generations of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her calling hours on Friday, January 20, from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Her funeral service will follow at 11:15 A.M. at the funeral home, with interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
