Merrimac - On Sunday, January 23, 2022, Dorothy D. Francoeur passed away at the age of 92 due to complications of the covid virus.

Dorothy was born 6/11/1929 in Amesbury MA to Alfred and Edna Yelle. She was retired from LaBaron Bonney antique car upholstery company. She loved music and spent much time playing her piano. She also enjoyed crafting, knitting, crocheting and needlepoint.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Louis and her 3 sons, Thomas, Paul, Philip, daughter-in-law Shelley Francoeur, and brother Alfred Yelle. She is survived by her 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Anne Perkins and husband Mel, Susan Sande and husband Gunnar, eight grandchildren, Lisa LaPointe, Eric Perkins, Heidi Otis, Greta Jacobs, Jacques Francoeur, Marc Francoeur, Lily Meekins and Mathew Meekins. She leaves behind 9 great-grandchildren, Sam, Max, Lilly, Olive, Nolan, Caroline, Claire, Chloe and Gunnar, her twin sister, best friend and soulmate Doris Cynewski and siblings, Wanda Roy, Silvia Donahue, Pauline Grant, Donna Story and Robert Yelle. Along with many loving nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service for family and friends is planned for the spring.
