Danville, NH - David C. Rapa, 51, died Jan. 24, 2019, at his home in Danville, N.H.

He was born Nov. 10, 1967, in Melrose, Mass., son of the late Albert A. Rapa and Donna (Geekie) Rapa-Doucette.

David grew up in Newburyport, Mass., and was a graduate of Newburyport High School, class of 1985. His working career was mainly in cable and electrical work. David was a good man who was gentle and very dedicated to whatever caught his full attention. His passion was for motorcycle riding, as was evident by his annual attendance at Laconia Bike Week. David also visited other various motorcycle events around the country when he could. He also enjoyed reading and playing guitar. David was truly a loving father and will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Angeline Jacques; son, Anthony Rapa; brother and sister-in-law, Allan Rapa and Melissa Smith-Rapa; sister and her fiancé, Charlotte Gagnon and Stephen Maguire; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, several cousins, close friends, and his faithful dog, Lizzie.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at 2 p.m., at Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held prior from 12 p.m. until the start of the service.
