Amesbury - Charlotte F. (Morrill) Shennett, age 92, of Peabody, former longtime resident of Amesbury, passed at CareOne at Peabody,on Monday evening, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of her beloved husband, Phillip M. Shennett, who passed on July 16, 2003.


Born in Amesury, MA on February 20, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Alice (Moody) Morrill and was a graduate of Amesbury High School.


Charlotte loved being a homemaker, taking care of her two sons, watching them turning into teenagers, and was very happy seeing her boys getting married and having their own children. Charlotte was ever so delighted with her five grandchildren, who brought her so much joy, which continued with her great-grandchildren. She was always content being around her family.


The wonderful memories of Charlotte's life will forever warm the hearts of her sons, Gregory Shennett and his wife Deanna Marie and Phillip Shennett; her five grandchildren, Tyler, Ethan, Ella, Melissa and Nicholas and her five great-grandchildren, Jude, Ambrose, Declan, Thadeus and Winter who were most precious to her.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913. By request of Charlotte, there will be no funeral services.
