Charles Edward Roberts, 74, passed away peacefully in hospice care, at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport on March 15, 2017.

He was born November 30th, 1942 in Chelsea. Charles enjoyed all Boston sports teams, lead by the Patriots. He especially loved his family, and spending time with them.

Charles was a family man, survived by his wife, Diane; three kids Karen, David, and Matthew, brother Billy, sister, Peggy, sister Bonnie, and four grandchildren, Christopher, Dominick, Victoria, and David, his four legged partners in crime, Lady, Balto, and Jenna, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded by his parents, Edith and Patrick Roberts, and eight siblings Arlene, Edith, Mary, Barbara, Tommy, Kenny, Patrick, and Jimmy.

Please remember Charles for what he was, a truly amazing man, who was extremely compassionate,

strong, and loving. We will all miss his wise cracks, and sense of humor. Let this wonderful man's legacy live on.

Celebration of Charles life will be announced at a later time.
