Bradford - Bradford - Carole Jean Waterhouse, 81, of Bradford, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.

She was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts on January 17, 1942, daughter of the late Anthony S. Yemma and Jennie Gallechio.

Carole was educated in the Haverhill School System and graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1959. Upon graduation, Carole went on to join the family shoe manufacturing business.

Carole was a professional ballroom dancer who began dancing at three with the Doris Caffrey School of Dance. Carole appeared on stage at the former Colonial Theater on Merrimack Street, Haverhill, in the mid-1940s. Carole later became a certified Round Dance instructor by the National Carousel's. Carole looked forward to attending the annual Round Dance Conventions in: Bennington, Montreal, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Sturbridge.

Carole was also an avid gardener and antique collector. Carole met her first husband, the late Frank D. Greene Jr, auctioneer while pursuing her interest in antiques. Carole enjoyed spending time at the family lake house and boating on Mousam Lake in Acton, Maine with her current husband, Richard. She also enjoyed spending time at her daughter and son-in-law's farm in NH and with her beloved dog, Poppy. Bird watching was also a favorite pastime

Carole is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Richard Waterhouse, her daughter and son-in-law Jennifer Moriarty, and Todd Moriarty of Mason, NH and many relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her calling hours on Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main Street, Bradford. Her funeral will begin on Wednesday morning, Sept. 20 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main Street, Bradford. Interment will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Merrimac.
