Newburyport, Ma. - Carol Fitzgerald, age 64, Newburyport resident, passed peacefully Wednesday afternoon, November 13, 2019, at her home on Broad St., surrounded by family and friends due to complications with lung cancer.
She is survived by her husband James Fitzgerald; and her four siblings; brothers Paul, and John; and sisters, Jean and Ann Bergstrom; along with many nieces and nephews scattered through out the country.
She was best known for her ability to light up a room with her smile and her unlimited compassion to help those in need.
Today the angels are singing, "One of their own has come Home." There will be a Celebration of Life Party in the spring-at our home on Broad St., among the beautiful gardens, which she meticulously cared for-expressing her appreciation for the beauty and serenity which Mother Earth offers us.
