Merrimac - Bruno Thomas "Bunny" Graziano, 86, of Merrimac, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025.
He was born on August 3, 1938, in Boston, MA, to the late Antonio and Mary (Trocano) Graziano. Raised in East Boston, he graduated from Christopher Columbus High School with the Class of 1957, where he remained an active member of the alumni association.He then proudly served four years in the United States Navy aboard the USS Yosemite.
Tom dedicated his entire career to the medical industry, beginning as an X-ray Technologist and later moving into X-ray equipment sales. He eventually established his own business, Essex Imaging Systems, which he successfully owned and operated for four years.
Known to his childhood friends and family as "Bunny", he had an extensive social circle, affectionately known as "The Goombas", with whom he loved attending the various events they organized. He and his local friends were regulars at a handful of area restaurants where they could be found enjoying coffee, bagels, and conversation. He also had a passion for gardening, BMWs, and tending to his fish aquariums.
As a resident of Merrimac for over 50 years, he was actively involved in many organizations such as Merrimac Youth Soccer and Parks and Recreation.
He loved his family and enjoyed his grandchildren. He was an avid supporter of scholastic and athletic events and enjoyed attending all their extracurricular activities.
Surviving family members include his children, Steve Graziano and his wife Leslie of Epping, NH, Dave Graziano and his wife Tara of Hampton, NH, Melissa Graziano of Feeding Hills, MA and their mother Gretchen Graziano of East Kingston, NH; grandchildren, Sam, Violet and Frankie; sister Rita DeMasellis and her husband Gene of East Boston, MA and longtime companion, Carol Johnson of Beverly, MA.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his niece, Lynne Graziano-Morin.
