Newburyport - Betty M. Rogers, 92, passed away on May 11, 2026.

She was born in Georgetown, MA on August 9, 1933, to the late L. Sherman and Bessie E. (Brocklebank) Lee. She attended Georgetown schools and graduated from Perley High School class of 1952. She worked many years at Star-Tronics in Georgetown and in the Children's Room at the Newbury Town Library in Byfield. Betty enjoyed bowling, playing cards with friends, puzzles and gardening. She was married to Paul O. 'Bart' Rogers for 54 years. He predeceased her in 2013.

She is also predeceased by brothers Leonard, Kenneth and Richard Lee and sisters Thelma Cheney and Norma Johnson, several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended "family". Betty's family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Port Healthcare Center where Betty lived for the last year of her life. She was very happy there and considered them her second family.

Relatives & Friends will be received Saturday, May 16, 2026, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street Rowley, MA. Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m. Interment at South Byfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be pledged to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
