North Andover - Barbara Ann (Corby) Mintz of Nantucket and formerly of Newburyport died peacefully on March 30, 2021, at the age of 72. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, cousin, friend and nurse. She loved her nursing career which included hospital, nursing home, school nursing and home health care. She loved to sail and swim and despite suffering from physical pain most of her life she was always renewed by a quick dip in the ocean. Her strong sense of faith, kindness and optimism were evident to all who knew her and will continue to guide her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Harry; daughter Rebecca and son-in-law Chad Gerber; son David and daughter in law Rachel; granddaughters Claire and Charlotte Gerber and Leah, Hannah and Delilah Mintz; brother Bob (Marcy), brother Bill (Carolyn), brother John, sister Patty, sister Jeanne (Charlie) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Because of limited capacity at the church due to COVID-19, attendance at the funeral is by invitation only. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to be made in Barbara's honor to: Hospice of Massachusetts, 10 Riverside Drive, Lakeville, MA 02347.
