Ann M Longleway Obituary

West Newbury - West Newbury - Ann Marie (Harrington) Longleway, devoted daughter, sister, wife, and aunt, was called home on September 3, 2025. She was born on December 12, 1945 to Margaret (McGurl) and Frederick "Ace" Harrington. Ann grew up in Arlington where she attended St. Agnes School and Arlington High School. Ann and her beloved husband Frank were married for 56 years. Ann and Frank resided in Waltham, MA for 36 years where Ann spent the majority of her career working in Accounts Payable at Polaroid Corporation, and she commuted with Frank to and from Polaroid for 35 years. They were an iconic pair, and every gathering, small or large, was better because of their presence.

Ann was an incredibly caring, selfless, and generous person with a loving heart. She was deeply devoted to her parents, siblings, and her entire family. She helped and supported them in small, thoughtful, every-day ways, as well as in crucial ways. After the untimely death of her sister at the age of 45, Ann made it her enduring priority to make sure her sister's six children always felt supported and loved. They knew they could always count on Auntie Ann and Uncle Frank. Together with her parents and husband, Ann helped her brother-in-law raise her sister's children.

Ann also prioritized her mother's care after her father passed away. After her mother's death and after retiring from Polaroid, Ann and Frank relocated to West Newbury, MA . They worked side by side to build their retirement home where they remained close to family, cultivated their land, and enjoyed the abundant nature around them.

Ann was a cherished part of her family whose lives will be forever changed by her passing, and forever blessed by her presence in their lives.
