Seabrook - Alan Leslie Souther, 82, of Seabrook, NH, passed away peacefully on November 12th, 2024.

Born in 1941, Alan spent his early years in Salisbury Beach and graduated from Amesbury High School in 1959. Following graduation, he enlisted in the Army, serving at Fort Drum and Fort Devens. In 1964, he married his beloved wife, Gail Corbin, and they shared a devoted life together until her passing in 2019. They expanded their family in 1969 when they adopted their son, Jeffrey.

Alan worked for Essex County Gas Company until his retirement. He and Gail enjoyed traveling, particularly to the Bahamas and Las Vegas. A Civil War enthusiast, Alan made several trips to Gettysburg and was an avid collector of Salisbury Beach postcards.

A devout Jehovah's Witness, Alan cherished the time spent with his fellow believers.

Alan leaves behind his loving son, Jeffrey Souther, and Jeffrey's partner, Deanna Raymond. He was a proud grandfather to Travis Souther (and his wife, Marissa), Tyler "TJ" Souther, and Trevor Souther, and a doting great-grandfather to Hayden and Carmen.

He was predeceased by his wife, Gail Corbin Souther, his parents, Furmer and Daisy Fowler Souther, and his brothers, Andrew, Furmer Jr., and Tristram "Tut" Souther.

A graveside service to honor Alan's life will be held on Monday, November 18th at 11 a.m. at Bartlett Cemetery in Amesbury, MA.
