Ryan James's Story
Ryan J. Johnston died unexpectedly in his home on March 11, 2017. He was born on March 19, 1988, in Wakefield, Mass. He attended Amesbury schools and graduated from Amesbury High with the Class of 2007.
Ryan was a kind and gentle man with a smile that lit up the room. He had many talents and had only just begun his life. He enjoyed physical fitness and sports of all kinds. Ryan will be deeply missed by all of the lives he touched.
Ryan is survived by his mother, Catherine Johnston and her partner, Paul Gauvin of Amesbury; his father, James Johnston of Waltham; his sister, Shannon Johnston; his brother, Kevin Johnston; and his beloved niece and nephew, Vanessa and Wyatt Swindell, all of Amesbury. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Theresa Bond; his paternal grandmother, Barbara Johnston of Waltham; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family asks that you join with them to celebrate Ryan's life by stopping by between 1 to 3 p.m. this Sunday, March 19, at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend St. in Amesbury.
