Patricia M.'s Story
Patricia M. (Kennedy) Garside of Salisbury, passed away of medical complications on January 12, 2017 at the age of 74.
Born in Dorchester, Mass. on February 9, 1942, Patricia was the daughter of the late William F. and Elisa (Siciliano) Kennedy.
She grew up in Everett and Wilmington, Mass. and was a graduate of Wilmington High School, Class of 1959. She attended Merrimack College and later married Thomas E. Garside, Sr. in 1963. She worked many years in the computer industry, but her real passions were her love for family, reading, and time spent at the ocean. Pat was fiercely independent and lived life her own way. Pat was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and daughter, and valued many close friendships throughout her life, including her 57 year friendship with her dear friend Patricia McLaughlin.
Patricia is survived by her son, Thomas E. Garside Jr. and his wife Michelle of Florence, KY; son Brian W. Garside and his wife Elizabeth of Wakefield, Mass.; three grandchildren Zoe, William and Caroline; her brother, William F. Kennedy Jr. and his wife Janice Landry; sister, Lisa Kennedy-Cox and her husband Douglas; nephew, Liam Kennedy; niece Alexandra Hanscom; cousins and many friends.
Pat will be remembered in a private memorial service held in Salisbury, for family and close friends.
