Lisa M. (Matte)'s Story
Lisa (Matte) Foderaro, age 53, died Wednesday afternoon, November 9, 2016, at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport after sustaining injuries from a car crash. She was the beloved wife of James A. Foderaro and devoted mother of Mattison Foderaro of Salisbury.
Born in Lowell on November 21, 1962, she was one of three daughters of the late Paul and Lorraine (Marchand) Matte and was a graduate of Dracut High School.
Lisa worked as a waitress in area restaurants, always greeting her customers with a friendly smile and pleasant conversation. Her greatest enjoyment in life came from her husband and her only daughter. The fond memories that they captured, the laughs, the adventures and wonderful vacations, the family gatherings, all these things are the priceless treasures that will be dear to their hearts forever.
In addition to her husband and her daughter, Lisa leaves behind her two sisters, Dianne Viel of Northfield, N.H., and Linda Mckenzie and husband, Michael of Meredith, N.H., along with extended family members and many dear friends. She will be truly missed by them all.
A period of visitation will be held Friday, November 18, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport, immediately followed by a Memorial Service at the funeral home.
