Judith "Jude" Ann's Story
Judith ‘Jude’ Maria passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Beverly, she was daughter of the late Antonio (Tony) and Mildred (Scanzani) Maria, and the granddaughter of Theresa (Nan) Scanzani, all of Beverly.
Jude was the owner of Café Express in the 1980s, as well as Outer Cape Kites. She loved to spend her time in nature and was very active in preserving and saving wildlife. Walking her dog, Koda in Beech Forest was one of her favorite activities. Jude loved her family and friends. Her door was always open for her many friends that came to visit each day, all year. She touched so many and will be sadly missed by all.
Jude leaves a brother, Robert Maria of Danvers; her niece and godchild, Kristine Maria of Merrimac; great-nephew, Randy Heywood and great-niece, Kassidy Heywood, both of Merrimac; and niece, Andrea Condon of Danvers. She also leaves her dog, Koda and kitty, Penny Lane. She was predeceased by her parents, Tony and Millie (Scanzani) Maria; her grandmother, Theresa (Nan) Scanzani; her sister, Brenda (Maria) Condon; and sister-in-law, Patricia (Dupuis) Maria.
Services are Tuesday, November 1, at 4 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly, MA.
