"You can't always get what you want, but you might find sometimes you get what you need." The Rolling stones were his favorite band, and he loved listening to music, reading, the Boston Bruins and walking his buddy, Casper around town. He was a great dad to his only daughter and many of her friends called him "Dad." Jay had a positive attitude always, and everybody who came in contact with him received warm light humor. He didn't take life too seriously, and this was one of his amazing traits. His biggest job was taking care of his beloved mother for many years, and he did it with love and compassion.
Graveside services will be held on May 12, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the St. Joseph's Cemetery on Route 110 in Amesbury followed by a luncheon. Arrangements are by the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home in Amesbury.
