Joan B. Wilson, 78, of Main Street, Rowley passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 26, 2016, with family by her side. She was born in St. Peter’s Bay, Prince Edward Island, Canada on September 27, 1938, a daughter of the late John F. and Irene (Whitty) Wilson. She was employed for many years as an assembler at Chase-Shawmut/Gould, retiring in 2000. Joan was a member of the Rowley Council on Aging. She enjoyed spending time with family, particularly spending summers on P.E.I. She also enjoyed step dancing, cooking and listening to country and old time Scottish fiddle music. Joan would light up a room with her smile and sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Louis Wilson; brother-in-law, Daniel Barrett; and sister-in-law, Clara Wilson. We will always carry Joan’s memory in our hearts.
