Jessica "Jessie"'s Story
Jessica Elizabeth “Jessie” Forrest, age 29, passed unexpectedly at her residence in Salisbury on Thursday afternoon, May 18, 2017.
Born in Newburyport on December 8, 1987, she was the beloved daughter of Christine (Breslin) Pouliot. She attended Amesbury schools and Essex Aggie, graduating from the Academy in Amesbury.
Jessie worked as a bartender at Uncle Eddie's at Salisbury Beach and previously worked at Naples Pizza in Amesbury and the Hungry Traveler in Salisbury. She loved playing darts, was extremely fond of animals, especially her cats, and liked getting together with her many friends. In the last few years, she loved to take cruises with her family and friends.
She will be dearly missed by her mother, Christine Pouliot and fiance, Michael Lowe of Hudson, N.H.; her brothers, Tyler Pouliot and Jonathan Brown, both of Amesbury; her grandmother, Sandra Breslin and husband, George of Salisbury; her great-grandmother, Miriam Underwood of Virginia; her aunts, Patti Breslin of Biddeford, Maine and Cathy Breslin of Salisbury; her uncle, Scott Breslin of Salisbury; along with many cousins, extended family members and countless friends.
Her sudden passing has left a huge void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. As you reflect on the wonderful memories of her life, hear her laughter, see her bright smile, feel her excitement, it becomes unbearable to accept that she is gone. However, clutch her memories tightly to your heart and know that she will always be a part of your life. That image can never be taken away-the gift of her life will always be with you.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Highland Street Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, followed by a period of remembrances by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society, 63 Elm Street, Salisbury, MA 01952 or to the MSPCA-Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
