Jean P. (Perry)'s Story
Jean P. (Perry) Levesque, 69, passed away January 08, 2017 at her home in Barrington, N.H. with her husband Wilfred “Bill” Levesque Jr. at her side after a fourteen year battle with illness.
She was born in Newburyport, on June 15, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Barbara Trafford and Kendall A. Perry.
Jean attended Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, NH and worked at Bailey Venture Corp from 1983 to 2003 when she retired. Jean loved spending time with her family and before she became ill she spent as much time as possible with her granddaughter, Halley Small. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, grandmother, aunt and cousin. Her extreme kindness was why she would be the first to volunteer her services no matter what the situation was. She was a collecting enthusiast and enjoyed going to yard sales with her late mother-in-law. Jean also loved dining out with her husband Bill and her favorite place to go was Wild Willy’s Burgers in Rochester, N.H. where she and her husband had their own special booth. After Jean became ill her cats brought her great comfort and she spent a lot of her energy caring for and loving them.
Jean is survived by her husband of 25 years, Bill Levesque of Barrington, N.H.; her son, Dennis Small of Massahusetts; brother, Mark Perry and his wife, Emma of Hampton, N.H.; two stepdaughters, Becky Desisto and her husband Craig, Jami Thomas Harmon and her husband Justin, and one stepson Billy Logan Thomas; 6 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her son Perry Carrier.
Calling hours for Jean will be held this Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend St., in Amesbury. Burial in the Union Cemetery in Newton, N.H. will take place in the spring.
