On Saturday, February 11, 2017, Elizabeth "Billie" (Crowley) Woodland, 90, entered her eternal peace with praises to God and messages of love on her lips.
Born 1926 of Charles and Genevieve Crowley, Newburyport, Billie was beloved wife of the late Donald J Woodland. They had five children, the late Sheila McClain (Scott); Winifred, Bernard (Victoria) of Cary, N.C., Teresa, recently of Beijing; and Genevieve Frances of Cleveland, Ohio.

She taught several generations of Pittsburgh nurses, first as a founding instructor in the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing (1954 to 1963). Then, after having five kids, she taught Anatomy and Physiology at Duquesne University (1972 to 1976) and Microbiology at CCAC (1976 to 1993).
