Eleanor K.'s Story
Eleanor K. Dobson, 82, of Seabrook, N.H., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Oceanside Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Hampton.
She was born on October 28, 1934 in Seabrook, the daughter of the late Leonard and Jennie (Miller) Dobson.
A lifelong Seabrook resident, she graduated from Amesbury High School and later Northern Essex Community College.
Eleanor proudly served six years in the United States Army before returning home and working at Lucent Technologies, retiring after 32 years. She loved being around family, especially her grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving family members include her daughter, Sylvia Griffin and her husband, Lee of Hampton; grandchildren, Julia, Lee, Anthony, Jennifer; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her 10 siblings, Evelyn, Leonard, Edith, Doris, Florence, Lawrence, Bettina, Myron, Malcolm, Winnie and her best friend Joan DiTommaso.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
