Eleanor D.'s Story
Eleanor D. (Sellenger) Pinciaro, 84, died Sunday, November 6, 2016, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Henry “Tubby” Pinciaro.
Born in Beverly on June 8, 1932, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Doris (Hammond) Sellenger. A lifelong resident of Beverly, Eleanor was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1951.
Eleanor was employed as a clerk at Appleseed’s in Beverly for 25 years before her retirement. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband of 61 years, she is survived by her daughter, Judy Sudak and her husband, Arthur of Beverly; her son, Ricky Pinciaro and his wife, Kathy (Casey) of Merrimac; five grandchildren, Anthony Sudak and his wife, Katie, Christina Pinciaro and her fiancé, Daniel Healey-Rose, Michael Sudak, Juliana Pinciaro and Christopher Sudak; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Dettorre and her husband, Tony and Betty Sellenger; a brother-in-law, Robert Pinciaro; and many nieces and nephews; She was also predeceased by her brother, John Sellenger.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday in St. John the Evangelist Church, New Balch St., Beverly at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beverly. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
