Eileen Andree (Dow)'s Story

Eileen Andree (Dow) Beevers, age 71, of Salisbury, passed peacefully Friday morning, December 16, 2016, at Merrimack Valley Health Center in Amesbury, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Jacob “Jake” Beevers.
Born in Newburyport, January 4, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Burton and Bernice (L’Heureux) Dow and and was a graduate of Newburyport High School.
Eileen had worked at Vaughn Manufacturing in Salisbury for many years.
She thoroughly enjoyed gardening and crafts, but most of all she loved spending time with her wonderful grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Christopher Beevers and wife, Sarah, and her daughter, Tiffini White and husband, Michael, all of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Matthew, Kelsie, Cameron, Connor, Michael, Reilly and Griffin; her brother, Burton Dow, Jr. and wife Susan of Hampton, N.H.; two sisters, Tammie Carney and husband, Francis of Portsmouth, N.H. and Denyse Nolan and husband James of Seabrook, N.H.; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Walters and husband, David of N.C. and Grace Hume of Salisbury, along with several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She will be missed by them all.
A special “Thanks “ to the staff at the Merrimack Valley Health Center and her dear friends “The Salisbury Girls”, Ada, Barbara, Donna, Marylou, Dianne, and Jill.
Visiting hours at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, will be Monday, December 19, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at the Star of the Sea Church, Beach Road, Salisbury followed by burial at Long Hill Cemetery, Salisbury. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Frontotemporal Disorders Unit, Massachusetts General Hospital to support the clinical care and research efforts for individuals living with FTD.
