Charles William Harlow, 53, of Oquossoc, Maine, died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the Maine Medical Center, Portland, Maine.
He was born in Rumford, Maine on March 7, 1963 and was the son of Henry and Nancy (McCollough) Harlow. He graduated from Amesbury High School, Amesbury, Class of 1981 where he was President of the Student Advisory Council and participated in varsity football, baseball, basketball, track and cross country. He also attended the University of Maine at Orono and Farmington, Maine. Charles worked in the restaurant industry for many years as a chef. He was a Communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius – St. John Church and enjoyed cooking and playing darts and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his parents Henry and Nancy Harlow of Oquossoc, ME and Pasadena, TX; sister Michele Ann Harlow Newman of East Greenwich, R.I.; nephew Kyle Henry Newman and niece, Melodie Rose Newman of East Greenwich, R.I. and niece, Rachel Brittany Harlow of Conroe, Texas; uncle, Charles Harlow and wife, Sylvia of Portland; great-aunt, Etta Watson of Rumford; many cousins; and was predeceased by a brother, Darel Harlow.

Charles William Harlow, 53, of Oquossoc, Maine, died Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Portland, Maine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 Noon Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius – St. John Church, 126 Maine Avenue, Rumford, ME 04276 with Fr. Nathan March as celebrant. Interment in the spring will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, Rangeley, Maine. Arrangements are under the care of the Meader & Sone Funeral Home 3 Franklin Street, P.O.
