Ann L.'s Story
Ann L. Nicholson, 76, of Amesbury, and a former resident of Newburyport, quietly passed away surrounded by her family on September 2, 2016, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House. Born in Beverly, the daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn Johnson, she was raised in Peabody and attended Peabody Public Schools. She was a homemaker who enjoyed camping, fishing, knitting, watching movies and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 55 years, James A. Nicholson and her brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Helen Johnson. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, daughter, Kelly Whittier and her husband, Roger and son, James Nicholson and his wife, Kelli all of Amesbury; grandchildren, Allison Seitz and her wife, Emily, Sarah Whittier, and newborn twins, Joshua and Kristen Nicholson; her sister, Patricia Kelly and her husband, William; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, September 10, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 High St., Amesbury, MA, followed by a small service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, also in Amesbury.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, Mass. bq
